I've been reading Tony Blair's memoir A Journey this weekend.  I find it quite extraordinary.  One of his chapters is devoted to Kosovo.  I wonder what donni thinks about the bombing campaign there.

i think there was a better way to deal with conflict. i think the conflict was manufactured. so it would help to hold our officials and their marriage to corporate america accountable for the damage they do to culture and infrastructure to a degree that would make them stop seeing conflict as a profitable venture.

yes, and i know, sadaam had a massive weapons of mass destruction program going on too. bombing kills people-saved others... sorta...soooooo. what's the diff them killing or us killing-they are all still dead. there was definitely a better way-less people dead. but no profit in that for THEM.
