Would schools be able to teach about electricity? I've never seen electricity. I've seen machines move because of something that others call electricity but I've never seen electricity with my own eyes. I can't tell you what color it is. I can't tell you what shape it resembles. I've never seen electricity. How could this be taught in schools?
Ted, after posting with you for this short time it's apparent there are many things you have not seen or know much about. Electricity is invisible to the naked eye, but you can observe it on an Oscilloscope and measure it on a Volt-Ohm meter or see its results in a Iron, a light, a TV a stove and so on. There are basically two types of Electricity AC 60cps and 400cps single and 3 phase and DC. AC is most common for Industry and homes because it can be moved around easily without much lost and it shape is a 360 degree sine wave. DC is more common in hand held phones and other low power battery devices and is a straight line or can be seen on a meter as a difference in potential. And BTW It's taught all the time in High Schools and military technical schools, because i taught it. You really need to start using Google and the internet more when you have a question from your lack of knowledge on a subject. kentay
