While there's small merit to the claim that fed regs hold small businesses back, what's sought is a blind eye to subsidiaries of big corporations and shell corporations for the purpose of allowing large corporations to skirt proper regulation.

Farmers are de facto employees of large corporations like Archer Midland Daniels and Monsanto and don't belong in the small business category at all, actually, unless and until they don't sign contracts with any of those large corporate entities for production.  And nobody pollutes the farm environment more than pig farms, chicken farms and cattle ranches which produce meat in such a factory environment that produces the necessity for massive food recalls, too.

No jobs are at risk in the cement industry, nor in the coal industry, outside of corporations killing off their own workers at an already-high rate due to their skirting regulations already in place.  What's needed is funding for greater enforcement and the one thing you can expect with a Republican administration is ensuring that regulations in place cannot be enforced because of budget cuts.

Maximize Domestic Energy Production
The energy sector is crucial to our economic growth, and high energy costs have a major impact on job creation. We need policies that allow us to harness our abundant supply of natural resources in America, develop new sources of energy, and create jobs here at home. These bills could create 250,000 jobs short?term and 1.2 million jobs long?term.

The above quote presumes that all Americans are energy field workers. FAIL

Again he pretends that all Americans are field workers for some energy megacorporation. FAIL

Woody's link lies about the Appropriations Bill, too, by the way--the Senate passed 9 out of the 12 items in that bill, according to The National Journal article.

Try again.  Click the link so you can stop the dishonest posting.  They have passed the bills.  It is the senate's job to debate, discuss, amend, and vote on them.

You do realize how our system of government works, correct?  Dn't hate me if I doubt that you do.   :P

So it's a FAIL if jobs are created in an industry in which not all Americans work? Tell us, What type of job do all Americans work in?
The Founding Fathers established the first Dept. of Homeland Security. They called it "a Well Regulated Militia."

None. All Americans work in different jobs, and some of them work for foreign factories here in the U.S. and there aren't as many of those as there are American companies abroad hiring foreigners.

It's a fail if jobs are created in an industry in which not all Americans work when it fails to change the unemployment rate. Even if those petroleum bills got through, the unemployment rate would still be 8.3%.  How 'bout try again.

Huh?  How do you know what it would or wouldn't do to the unemployment rate?

You are a hoot.  Really.  Not all of the bills listed fit your description.  Just admit you lied, we're misinformed or you are plain ignorant when you continue to post that boehner has not pushed jobs legislation thru congress.

Yet, in her world all Americans are either green energy workers or they fix roads and bridges.  Clara, are you really a lefty?  You are more like a caricature, one you would see on a TV show.

Because, as we've all agreed at this point, the only jobs affected by what scant bills on that list actually talk about jobs are specialist jobs in only one industry. It doesn't address the national unemployment situation and thus is just a drop in a very large bucket.
