A reminder for kentay:
I fully support going back to ALL, that says ALL THE CLINTON TAX and spend policies that led to the economic boom in the second half of the 90's.

Ignore reality Clara.  That makes it easier for you to post your propaganda.   ;)

I ignore duplicate threads, hon. You know anybody else in charge of a board would have deleted the duplicate a long time ago.

Yet more proof she doesn't read before posting.

Nobody else reads duplicate posts, either, which is the main reason board admins typically delete them.  Tell ya what, I'll just merge ths with the other one.

===========================

Mission accomplished--two duplicate threads merged into this one topic.

Two threads on the same topic constitutes a duplication.  We're pretty lax in the rule department around here, and there's no rule that says you can't post 2 links in a topic when both links are on the same topic.

There's no rule that says you can't have a duplicate topic, either, but as with all other things under the heading of free speech, expect consequences. When people ignore a duplicate topic, no rule states that you gotta whine about what you shoulda seen coming a mile away.

I said thanks and also explained how it happened and acknowledged you were correct.  Read the threads where you play moderator.  Now, I refuted your crap.  Plenty of jobs legislation.  You can stop with the talking point.

You have one link with 2012 bills and Cantors link with all bills since 2010.  You even have some Obama signed.  Stop lying.

And you're hilarious. I addressed every single bill listed on that page AND the arguments on that page. I didn't to any more cherry picking than the author of that page did.

I'll give you that.  There are two different threads with the same title.  Actually three.  Technical difficulties the night I posted them.  I was wrong.

Repost.

When you stop lying about me lying. There were two or three bills in there remotely having to do with a narrow field of jobs and none of them addressed NATIONAL unemployment on the whole. Now stop lying about those being all jobs bills.

Sorry but when you continue to post that Boehner has not pushed thru jobs legislation that is a lie.  You have 32 bills awaiting senate action and multiple bills signed by Obama.

And yes ya lying sack of **** you have a link to cantors site that has the specific bills you are looking for.  Propagandists like you are why this country is on the financial cliff.  You lack independent thinking skills and repost whatever crap the headlines say.

Start here and scroll down on cantor's link:

[/size]Fix The Tax Code To Help Job CreatorsAmerica's tax code has grown too complicated and cumbersome. We need a tax code that is flatter, fairer, and simpler to ensure that everyone pays their fair share, lessen the burden on families, generate economic expansion, and create jobs by making America more competitive. What is this thread supposed to be about?  All I see is woody and clara sort of yelling at each other, but about what?

On numerous occasions Clara has posted that Boehner and house republicans have not passed any jobs legislation.  She is buying into the dem talking point.  So I posted them for her yet she still persists in claiming they haven't.

Throw in some technical difficulties, admission of being wrong about them, and you get this thread.

What sorts of "jobs" bills are we talking about?

Primarily about Woody claiming that those items he cited are actually jobs bills when they're not, that's what. Harry Reid's states reason for not letting those through was that the Republicans need to get real first.  I'm with Harry Reid on that one.

In the OP he posted a link. There are bills listed there, and Woody claims that they're about jobs. Only 2 - 3 of them are actually about jobs and I went down the list of of 'em and posted why the OP was bogus, as well as posted a response to each of the arguments also posted on that link.  There's another link, but that's from the merged thread. This is what he's talking about.

Let me try again:  WHAT SORTS OF "JOBS" BILLS ARE WE TALKING ABOUT?  You deny that woody's bills are "jobs" bills.... on what basis?  What are your criteria for a jobs bills?  Does it have to be an appropriations bill which funds public-sector positions?
