party wants to pass the personhood law. So they can declare a fetus is a human being. It is not human, in my opinion and I base my reasoning on my holly book where it says the following:   Genesis 2:7  And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. I believe only when the fetus is born into a child and takes its own breath becomes a human soul. Until that happen the Fetus is in God's hands whether nature abort the fetus or man does. After its born it collectively in all of humanities hands. Why does your party only care about a fetus and not the born child?  kentay

Oh goody--our allegedy Christian nation is now going Old Testament Jewish. Happy Hanukkah!

That's ok.  Kentay is a creationist.

Jesus was Jewish. I'm surprised you didn't know that.

Evangelicals who claim that the Old Testament doesn't count except for the Ten Commandments (not in The Bible at all) don't know that.

The tend commandments can be found there.  It is more than a Chalton Heston Epic.

I'm talking about those aren't no Ten Commandments but what got written in that way in latter day revisions.  That's Exhibit A of why there are a bazillion different "translations" of Bible out there---ongoing changes of agenda.

I am a Christian man and I believe in evolution. kentay

The Ten Commandments were laws that God gave to man and very few men, if any could fatefully go thru life without breaking one or more of the laws that separated man from God. So God, in his infinite wisdom sent his son to break the law and place us under grace not under the law so that we might see God.  Grace said that if you changed your heart and accepted God with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself  then you will see and be in heaven. We are now under grace not the law and it's all there for you to read and see for yourself, not just accept  what someone else tells you. My greatest possession I own is my eternal soul  and what happens to it if anything upon my physical death on earth. If you're not interested enough to read and check it out for yourself then what ever the end brings you, then you will deserve. I pray that each of you I post with will conceder checking it out for yourself in your own holy book.   Kentay

Kentay, are you or are you not using creationist thinking and teaching (wrongly) to justify your views on when life begins and ignoring any and all passages found in later passages?

A short, normal font response will be appreciated.

The Ten Commandments were an invention of Luther and aren't even in the original King James Authorized Bible. There is a truckload more Commandments than just ten.

Ever since even colonial times, life has been legally recognized as beginning with the survival of a live birth.  That's why they're called Birth Certificates and Certificates of Live Birth---not Conception Certificates.

The people who believe we should following the Founding Fathers reject what the Founding Fathers hold to be true in this case.

Hypocritical of the right wingnuts if y'ask ME.

You sure that is an argument you want to push forward?  How was ol' Ben with the sonogram?  As I told you over and over and over and over keep abortion as it is right now.  But don't ever try to convince me that that heart beating, moving, feeding and kicking body is not a life.
