The problem is not Obama or Romney, the Democrats or Republicans.
The problem is that we have a Congress and Senate composed of people who sold their soul to corporations to get elected.
We have people running the country only concerned about satisfying their corporate masters and the people have all become expendable.
Plato identified the problem 2400 years ago when he said: "Virtue and greed is inversely proportional"!
A Capitalist system is a system based on greed and a capitalist nation is a nation without virtue.

We are looking at all the menacing trees our corporate news media warn us about and have lost sight of life and what is of real value.
We are manipulated by people such as Brothers Kooch that see power and wealth as the only human virtue.
We are ruled by those that see compassion and empathy as human weaknesses, sociopaths every one of them.
These people might be well advised to listen to what Egyptians said about 6000 years ago: "If there is an afterlife will you spend it avoiding those you have wronged in this life?"

Welcome, Gnosisquest!

Glad you're here!  clara, kentay, and donni can use reinforcements.

Now, is there any actual factual basis for these generalizations you're throwing around?
Zionism is the National Liberation Movement of the Jewish People.

Thanks Coleman.
Yes there is factual basis for it all except the part about there being an afterlife. It is a factual quote from the Egyptians but as yet there is no solid evidence of an afterlife.

OK, I chose one assertion more or less at random:

Quote
We are ruled by those that see compassion and empathy as human weaknesses, sociopaths every one of them.

Are you saying that every member of Congress is a sociopath?  Every official in the executive branch?  Every member of the judiciary?  All of the above?  Are you serious?
Zionism is the National Liberation Movement of the Jewish People.

No Coleman; we are ruled by corporations.
As the fearful leader of the GOP insist Corporations are people, these same corporations would all be analyzed as sociopaths:
noun Psychiatry .
a person with a psychopathic personality whose behavior is antisocial,  often criminal, and who lacks a sense of moral responsibility or social conscience.

Welcome Gnosisquest!  Like mister Coleman said, we welcome opposite minded individuals.

Now, please name one corporation that forces you to buy their product or pay them anything.

Well, let's be fair!  In my case, Commonwealth Edison [a division of Exelon] and Peoples Gas come immediately to mind.

Would it be safe to speculate that our new posting friend who accesses the forum thru the corporate run internet using some sort of corporate built data device which is powered by energy delivered by some corporation or another is an Occupy Wall Street disciple?

Or would I be way off the mark with that line of thought?
A reminder for kentay:
I fully support going back to ALL, that says ALL THE CLINTON TAX and spend policies that led to the economic boom in the second half of the 90's.

Actually, I don't believe they are forcing you into buying electricity or gas, it would be tough but you could do without.  The Unibomber did.  And lets not forget that they are a quasi-government corporation in that they are tightly controlled by your local government and your local government forbids other businesses from moving into their market.  They are a government approved monopoly.

The government has it's hands all over Commonwealth Edison therefore it's not a good example.

I think there is an app available that will take many, or maybe even any, SMF brand forum make it readable on an iPhone.  I haven't tried it though.
